Cesare Cesa Bianchi | Ismael Santos Rodriguez | Silvano Spinelli

I was born in Orense (Spain) on the 26/04/1972. When I was 13, I went to Madrid to start what would have been my life for over 20 years, that is basketball. I played for 14 years in Real Madrid, 10 of which with the first team in the role of play guard (from 1989/90 till 1998/99) and the last 4 years as team captain. I won 2 championships (1992/93 and 1993/94) a King Cup (1993), a Euroleague (1995) and a Recopa (1997). In Italy I played for 2 years in the Benetton Treviso, where I have been vice-champion of Italy (2000) and I won an Italian Cup (2000).
I played in the following Spanish National Teams: Under 16 (1 European, 26 matches); Juniors (1 European, 6 matches), Under 23 (2 Europeans, 1 Mondial, 37 matches) winning 1 bronze medal at the Europeans (1994) and Absolute National (6 matches).

Then I discovered the mountains and my life changed for ever.

I left the world of basketball in 2003 to take up this new passion. Since then, I have devoted myself to rock climbing and alpinism.
HIGH MOUNTAIN: I summited 32 of the 82 4000ers in the Alps.
EXPEDITIONS: Cho Oyu 8201m (Tibet), Tocllaraju 6050m and Chopicalqui 6450m (Perù).
TREKKING: Mustang, tour around Annapurna, Khumbu Valley (Nepal), Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca (Perù), Ladakh (India), British Columbia (Canada), Iceland and Greenland.
ROCK CLIMBING: I climbed some of the classic routes in the Dolomites and in the Mont Blanc area.
